Cattle Ax

CattleAx are McCall Idaho's ambassadors to the glory days of Honky-Tonk music. Led by Sean Tracey on guitar, harmonica and vocals, the band is rounded out by Elise Giddings playing fiddle as well as Doug Ratkovich and Jayson McGinnis holding down the rhythm on upright bass and drums respectively. CattleAx provides a conduit to classic and obscure country covers as well as songs written by Sean in the Honky-Tonk groove.

Open Range

Open Range has been playing in and around McCall for more than 10 years. Annie Nies on mandolin, Irwin Mulnick on guitar and Jeff Box on bass play a variety of genres and musical styles from Gillian Welch to Neal Young and Frank Sinatra. Their sound has evolved over the years to incorporate vocal harmonies, instrumental solos and some unusual song choices to produce a mix of harmonious and uplifting entertainment. There’s something fresh and familiar, engaging, and often startling for everyone with this trio.

Johnny Costa

Acoustic Roots music. Johnny's blend of Americana with bluesy SoCal and hip-hop undertones is sure to keep you feeling the summer vibes all night. Johnny has played in bands since the 7th grade spanning classic rock, live hip-hop, bluegrass and jazz. His solo guitar singer songwriter style blends in and out of eclectic covers making sure each show is a one of a kind experience.

Louise Gilbert

singer/songwriter/bass player

Louise performed for many years as the bass player and singer for "Hurricane." She is performing this year at Locals' Night with the help of Ed Didisse, one of the most rock steady musicians in Valley County and thereabouts. You can often find him playing bass with his band, "Dusty Huckleberries." For this venue, he is on guitar and vocals. Don't miss his slide guitar. You will be hearing mostly original tunes by Louise, Ed and Lance Hansen. A little blues, a little rock, a little country...sit back and enjoy.
